Some New Taxidermy purchases.

I just picked up the little shrew which I found in my village. Stuffed Beautifully by A J Armisted of Darlington. I also got one of his fox brushes.

He was working on this bizare mink/crow/fox/dear concoction. Terrifying!

Seal seal

I have been eperimenting with wax seals to package proucts from my shop. As well as coming close to setting the studio and my self alight!

John Martin - Heaven and Hell

Im a little slow at posting about this, I just got far too excited and forgot.

At the Laing art gallery there is the most extraordinary exhibition of vast destructive paintings by Victorian Artist, John Martin. Scenes of apocaliptic wrath of god, burning cities and Paradise Lost.

Well worth a visit, you might even see me volunteering in the gallery.

The Cops and The Robbers

There have been a lot of break ins where a live. Someone tried to break in to my front door with a hammer. Someone threw a rock through our neighbors window and robbed them.

Zoo Time!

I visited Whipsnade zoo to photograph the animals to draw from.
It was a bit good! I got very close to a huge tiger. I am very sad that the bears were hibernating tho. I'll have to go back.

These little guys don't look like the most exciting animal, but along with peacocks, wallaby and some small deer, they roam free around the park. I wanted to put one in my bag!
